Its focus on racial issues is a smokescreen for a much larger effort to completely dismantle the American economic, political and social systems and rebuild them from scratch \u2014 according to Marxist principles.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Black Lives Matter: &#8220;We Will Burn Down This System&#8221; \u2014 Part II<\/h3>\n<p>Soeren Kern | <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gatestoneinstitute.org\/16301\/black-lives-matter-part-ii\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gatestone Institute<\/a> | August 2, 2020<\/p>\n<p>Multinational companies, philanthropic foundations and private citizens have been <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/1d5d09286d910bc84c48ffe2d3a11197\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">donating<\/a> tens of millions of dollars to Black Lives Matter (BLM), and a recent survey by the Pew Research Center has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewsocialtrends.org\/2020\/06\/12\/amid-protests-majorities-across-racial-and-ethnic-groups-express-support-for-the-black-lives-matter-movement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">found<\/a> that more than two-thirds of Americans support the BLM movement.<\/p>\n<p>While Gatestone Institute and doubtless many others wish that blacks and all minorities benefit from the equal opportunities and protections offered by the U.S. Constitution, the high level of backing for BLM raises the question: How much does the public really know about BLM?<\/p>\n<p>Part I of this series <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gatestoneinstitute.org\/16181\/black-lives-matter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">revealed<\/a> the anti-American agenda of Black Lives Matter, which, under the guise of fighting racism, seeks to transform the United States into a communist dystopia. BLM&#8217;s leaders openly admit that they want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gatestoneinstitute.org\/16181\/black-lives-matter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">abolish<\/a> the nuclear family, police, prisons and capitalism.<\/p>\n<p>BLM leaders have <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/06\/25\/blm-leader-if-change-doesnt-happen-we-will-burn-down-this-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">threatened<\/a> to &#8220;burn down the system&#8221; if their demands are not met, and are also <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/06\/25\/blm-leader-if-change-doesnt-happen-we-will-burn-down-this-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">training<\/a> black militias.<\/p>\n<p>Part II of this series examines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As documented below, BLM has <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/article\/blm-roots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lifted<\/a> much of its agenda from radical leftist groups active in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. BLM is an ideological descendant of the Black Power Movement, the Black Panthers, the Black Liberation Army and the Weather Underground, all of which sought to overthrow the U.S. political system.<\/li>\n<li>BLM&#8217;s innovation is two-fold: 1) it has successfully employed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ywboston.org\/2017\/03\/what-is-intersectionality-and-what-does-it-have-to-do-with-me\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">intersectionality<\/a> and identity politics to stir up a broad range of grievances that extend far beyond race \u2014 including class, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, immigration status and other identity markers \u2014 thus assuring that BLM offers something for just about anyone claiming victim status; and 2) it has successfully <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/internet\/2018\/07\/11\/activism-in-the-social-media-age\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">leveraged<\/a> social media to agitate mob hysteria and funnel societal rage into a political movement with a large online reach.<\/li>\n<li>BLM&#8217;s ideological influences and sources of funding. BLM is at the core of a <a href=\"https:\/\/capitalresearch.org\/article\/blm-roots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vast network<\/a> of Marxist groups whose demands often coincide with those of Antifa anarchists, many of whom have been piggybacking on BLM protests to stir chaos and destruction. Left-of-center foundations including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/w-k-kellogg-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">W.K. Kellogg Foundation<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/ford-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ford Foundation<\/a>, as well as intermediaries including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/thousand-currents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thousand Currents<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/borealis-philanthropy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Borealis Philanthropy<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/alliance-for-global-justice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alliance for Global Justice<\/a> and have provided tens of millions of dollars to BLM and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/movement-for-black-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Movement for Black Lives<\/a>, an umbrella group that coordinates BLM activism.<\/li>\n<li>BLM is a revolutionary anti-capitalist movement masquerading as a civil rights movement.
