What’s Next for the Iran Nuclear Deal?<\/h3>\n

Britain, France and Germany, the three European signatories of the Iran nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action<\/a> (JCPOA), have activated the agreement\u2019s dispute mechanism in an effort to force Tehran into compliance with its commitment to curb its nuclear program.<\/p>\n

The three European countries \u2014 also known as the E3 \u2014 triggered<\/a> the so-called Dispute Resolution Mechanism (DRM) on January 14, a week after Iranian authorities announced<\/a> that they would no longer be bound by any of the agreement\u2019s restrictions in terms of the numbers or type of centrifuges that they can operate or the level of uranium enrichment that they can pursue.<\/p>\n
