A groundbreaking new report about parallel societies in European cities reveals a close correlation between mass immigration, Islamization, and the emergence of so-called no-go zones—Muslim-dominated neighborhoods where the state has effectively lost control.

The 75-page study—“No-Go Zones: Immigration, Islamisation, and the Rise of Parallel Societies”—was produced by New Direction, a think tank associated with the European Conservatives and Reformists Group, a center-right political group in the European Parliament. The report was officially presented to the public in Brussels on March 25.

The term “no-go zone” has long been derided by academics, journalists, and politicians to discredit those concerned about mass migration. The new report breaks the wall of silence: “We believe that understanding the existence of no-go zones is not only a matter of security; it is an existential question for the future of European social cohesion,” the report says.
